Terms & Conditions:


Ordering Confirmation:
Orders discussed via email, social media, or phone are not considered confirmed and scheduled until an invoice has been sent and your payment is received. Once your order has been confirmed, your order and my confirmation of your order are considered to be set out as a contractual agreement between you and I for the sale of any and all Beached Bakehouse baked goods. Please review that all details are accurate and correct, and that you understand the Full Terms and Conditions before placing your order. Once your order had been received and confirmed, a contract shall come into existence between us and you will henceforth be bound to these terms and conditions. The order is an offer by you to enter into a binding contract which I am free to accept or decline at my absolute discretion.


Advanced Order Retainer:
For orders placed significantly in advance of your requested date, a 50% retainer fee is due to secure your order. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to dispatch. Of course, you are welcome to pay the full amount upfront. Wedding orders are not included in this agreement, as they vary based on individual needs. Orders placed more than 6 weeks in advance will be subject to a $250 minimum.


Month Of Orders:
When placing an order within the month of your requested date, I do require payment in full to the value of your order (as outlined in your order confirmation) within 48 hours of your invoice receipt - unless otherwise agreed in writing by me. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.


Rush Orders:
When the date for your Order is less than 5 business days away, a rush fee may be incurred to my discretion.


Pick-Up and Delivery:
Pick-up is available from my home bakery in Mansfield, TX (details provided upon order confirmation). Times available for pick up are as follows:
Weekdays 7PM-9PM

Weekends 9AM-11AM

All pick up times must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. If you cannot make it within these times, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your specific needs. Also, as a general courtesy please try to be on time to your scheduled pick up time. I understand that DFW traffic can be a little unpredictable at times, but if you're running late please let me know.
Delivery is available within the DFW area for a $10 flat fee plus $0.45/mile both ways. Delivery times must be requested and scheduled at least one week in advance.


As all Beached Bakehouse baked goods are created in the same kitchen where nuts, gluten, and dairy are present, I cannot guarantee that my products are nut/gluten/dairy free. However, I do try to make an effort to accommodate these allergies and am expertly trained in cross contamination - please notify me when placing your order.


Loss or Damages:
All of my goods are packaged with care and attention, and I cannot be held accountable for products loss or damage after they have left the Beached Bakehouse premises. Once dispatched, my responsibility as a seller ceases to exist and this warranty does not apply to any defect in the products provided arising from willful damage, accident, negligence you or any act of a third party, your failure to follow instructions, or any alteration you carry out.


Changes to Orders:
Any major changes to your order less than one full week before the required delivery/pick up date may incur a fee of $50 for reworking of design and/or loss of work already completed on the order such as specialty ingredients, custom cookie cutters, cake toppers, ect.


Change of Date:
If you need to reschedule your order and still want the services of The Beached Bakehouse, your original retainer is transferable for 4 full weeks prior to your original required date, and can be put towards the booking of a new date should it be available for reservation with The Beached Bakehouse. After this allocated period of time, your retainer is no longer transferable or refundable and will be forfeit.


Cancellations and Refunds:
A full refund will be issued for any cancellation in form of writing (email only, no Social Media comments or text messages) more than 4 weeks prior to your required delivery date. If for any reason you need to cancel your order after this period, I will offer a full refund less the initial 50% retainer fee paid. However, any cancellations made within 7 business days are neither refundable nor transferable. In the unlikely event that I am unable to complete your order due to unforeseen personal circumstances or otherwise, I will offer you a full refund. As The Beached Bakehouse goods are food products, I am unable to issue a refund once your order has been completed.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, a partial refund may be issued once the remaining portion of the dessert in question is returned for a quality check. Quality checks must be done within 12 hours of the initial complaint and more than 3/4 of the dessert must be returned to be eligible for consideration.


Variations in Final Products:
All of my goods are individually handmade, and therefor may not always appear exactly as in photographs, sketches, or descriptions. Any photos you provide as examples and/or illustrations on my site are published to provide you with an approximate idea of the goods I can provide. They do not form part of the contract between you and I or any other contract between you and I for the sale of Beached Bakehouse baked goods. At no point will I duplicate another artist's work, and I do not repeat the same order twice. All photos used are for inspirational purposes only.


Thank you for understanding! These policies are not in place to upset anyone or make it hard to place an order. I have these terms and conditions in order to protect myself as a small business owner as well as to protect you as a consumer.
